Houzz Seller Updates - September 1st, 2021
On September 1st, 2021, Houzz will be releasing updates to their Marketplace Seller API. These updates will impact existing CartRover integrations with Houzz. Their system will begin auto-authorizing a customer's payment method 30 minutes after the order is initially placed. If the order fails to charge it will not be released until Houzz obtains a successful authorization. These changes will only affect Houzz Seller connections.
What This Means for CartRover Accounts
If you are using a Houzz Seller cart within CartRover your account will automatically be updated on August 31st to prevent any lapse in service coverage. This new update will remove the options New, In Production and New or In Production for the order status setting. If you are currently using any of these three options you will automatically have your Order Status setting in your Houzz Seller cart changed to: Charged.
Charged is Houzz's new status to ensure that all orders are paid before being released for shipping. You can change this setting in your CartRover account Houzz settings if desired.
We are writing to let you know about some upcoming changes and new features that will affect all sellers.
To streamline the order process for sellers, you will no longer be required to click “Process” on new orders.
As of September 1st, 2021 our

We have updated our API manual to
include the new order processing workflow. You will need to update any
relevant contacts with this information to ensure integration processes
