Setting Up 3PL Central

Integration Specs:

  • Required Parameters
    WMS Parameters:
    • Warehouse Name
    • 3PL Key/GUID (sometimes referred to as TPL)
    • 3PL Facility ID
    Merchant Parameters:
    • Customer ID
    • API Client ID
    • API Client Secret
    • 3PL User Name
    • 3PL Password



CartRover uses the new 3PL Central REST API. The warehouse must first contact support@3plcentral.com and request access to their REST API.


Step-by-step guide

  1. In the CartRover WMS Setup tab, make sure 3PL Central is selected as your WMS.
  2. If the warehouse has not already done so, they must first contact support@3plcentral.com and request access to their REST API with the following permissions.
  3. For each client/merchant, the warehouse must contact 3PL Central support (support@3plcentral.com) and ask for the following information (can take 1-2 business days):

    4. Can you please provide us Customer level REST API credentials for the following client(s):

    Client Name

    API credentials needed:

    • Customer ID
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
    • TPL

    Permissions required:

    • orders - read/write
    • items - read
    • inventory - read
    • customers - read

Warehouse Name
Once logged in to 3PL Central, the Warehouse Name will be in the top right corner next to the current customer

This is the long string in brackets that is at the end of your 3PL Central login URL. For example:

3PL Facility ID
Found in 3PL Central under Admin > Manage Warehouses. The first column on the facilities grid is the ID for the corresponding warehouse.
