TradeGecko Couldn't Find OrderLineItem

Problem

Orders fail to load into TradeGecko with the error message: 
Could not upload tracking information
Could not confirm order: xxxxxx
Couldn't find OrderLineItem with 'id'=xxxxxxxxx"

Reason for getting alert:


TradeGecko associates an "OrderLineItem ID" with each item that is ordered.

Once CartRover picks up an order from TradeGecko, TradeGecko expects the OrderLineItem ID’s to match up when CartRover returns shipping confirmations back to TradeGecko.

This error typically occurs after CartRover picks up an order from TradeGecko, and then the order is modified inside TradeGecko afterward.

For example, If CartRover picks up the order with the 6 items. However, the Item xxxxxxxxx is out of stock inside TradeGecko, then the order is modified inside TradeGecko by deleting the OrderLineItem ID (and replaced with a new item (which will have a new OrderLineItem ID)).

CartRover will not detect this change inside the order. When CartRover tries to upload tracking back to TradeGecko, TradeGecko will reject the shipping confirmations because TradeGecko expects the OrderLineItem Id’s to match up.

Solution

Do not modify orders inside TradeGecko after CartRover has already picked up the order. 

If you do need to modify the order afterward, CartRover will not be able to upload the shipping confirmations successfully. In these scenarios, you will need to manually add the tracking numbers inside TradeGecko and manually close the orders out inside TradeGecko.
